Extensive overview of bows, arrows, and spears of the North American Natives. Vol. 1: USA
North America geographically includes the United States of America, the United States of America, as well as Canada.
In the present two-volume work, the nearby and ethnologically related Greenland is also included, because the Inuit living there, coming across the Bering Strait, make up the majority of the indigenous populations in Alaska, Canada, and Greenland.
This first Volume covers only the United states with Alaska.
In addition to the rich citations from various sources and the illustrations from them, the work is enriched with photographs of items from museums and private collections, as well as explanatory maps.
Hardcover, 480 pp. With more than 870 illustrations, mostly in color, and 73 plates.
The second volume covering Canada and Greenland has 212 pages and is available here.
