Weaving Tablets of Horn

Horn weaving tablets with five holes.

Handcrafted weaving boards made of water buffalo horn, based on models from the Viking Age and the Middle Ages.
This medieval horn weaving board is crafted from a single piece of horn and carefully smoothed.

The dimensions of the weaving board are 4.5 x 4.5 cm, with five holes of 5 mm diameter.

The thickness of the weaving board decreases from 2 mm in the center to 1 mm at the sides.
This means that the individual weaving boards rest only in the center and glide smoothly over one another, which simplifies handling and also reduces weight.
