About Us

"HistoFakt. Historical Services" was founded in 2006 as a competent and reliable partner for businesses, institutions, learned societies, and individuals in all matters of historical research, publication, and representation.
With the years historical live (or life) experiences became an increasingly important part of our business. Day courses in archery and arrow making proved particularly successful. Many participants' desire to buy literature on the subject, materials, tools, and other accessories directly from us finally led to the opening of this webshop in August 2016.

We offer a choice selection of books, magazines, and other products in the fields of history, the Middle Ages, reenactment, bows and arrows, and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). "Quality before quantity" is our motto here, since we strive to offer only the best, and not simple mass products that are available on every corner.

As a small family-run business we neither can nor want to compete with any of the big "global players". Instead we try our best to combine online shopping with individual customer liaison and support as you would find in a good old-fashioned shop down the street, and we aim to offer only the highest quality at fair prices, to fulfill special requests, to ship orders as quickly and as cheaply as possible, and to answer your questions as soon as we can.

Since we have only very limited storage space, it is possible that individual products are sold out for a short period of time – we hope you understand, and we promise to always re-stock any items as quickly as possible.
