Quality Birch wood shafts, Ø 13 mm (~1/2 inch), 90 cm long.
These quality shafts of narrow grained Birch wood are perfect to make reproductions of medieval war arrows, Manchu arrows, or any other arrows for use with prarticularly strong bows.
We select shafts with straight and regular grain, so they can be tapered more easily. After such treatment they usually have to be straightened a little.
The diameter of 13 mm raoughly equals 1/2 inch, and with their extra length these shafts will also accomodate a longer draw.
